Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced, goal-oriented Sales Professional to join our growing company. 

The primary responsibilities for this position are to seek out and add new clients for our residential audio/video, home automation, and other home-technology offerings, and to seek out new opportunities in commercial, educational and government audio/video work. 

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • a proven ability to grow and maintain an expanding customer base
  • a proven track record in prospecting, lead generation, presentation, and closing
  • a demonstrated ability to understand high-level technical details and communicate them in non-technical terms to potential clients
  • a strong desire to grow and succeed, personally and professionally

The ideal candidate will be articulate, and able to convey excitement about owning quality home entertainment components.  Product knowledge and expertise are valuable; however, excellent sales and customer service skills are critical. 

Requirements

  • 2+ years of outside commission-based sales experience in the Consumer Electronics Industry, or 3+ years of experience in a commission-based sales environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong prospecting and networking skills, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to close the sale
  • Clear and effective oral and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency with basic Office software, and ability to learn new software
  • Must pass background check and have clean driving record

Optional Experience (desired, but not required)

  • Strong understanding of residential home construction
  • Experience with contact management software, Visio, and/or bidding/proposal software

Compensation

This is a commissioned sales position with no earnings cap.  We offer a competitive compensation package with a competitive commission and bonus structure, vehicle allowance, health-insurance reimbursement, industry training, and paid-time-off.
